On Ice Skills Academy

The Clarke & Co On Ice Skills Academy will enable players to visit the National Ice Centre Nottingham on a weekly basis and gain high-end on-ice skills development, overseen by leading coaches and instructors to develop on ice skill and habits; These sessions will be open to last year’s U10s, U12s, U14s & U16s players.

After the overwhelming interest to join our on ice academy, launched in September 2020 and working closely with the National Ice Centre we have been able to acquire additional ice time in order to meet this demand and now provide an additional development opportunity for our younger aspiring hockey players.

Founder Clarke & Co hockey David Clarke said “ We are thrilled to add to our current academy offering from a slightly different angle, with the key focus on developing the skills required to grow within the the game of hockey. We believe this way of development can only benefit and plug the any gaps in the traditional junior development approach here in the UK”.

The Skills Academy aims to work with a consistent group of junior hockey players (last year’s U10s to U16s) from the local and surrounding areas on a regular basis and provide an additional learning environment that British hockey players rightfully deserve.
